The contributions to Women Excelling Everywhere from these amazing authors are phenomenal. Fantastic insight into being a successful entrepreneur, parent, community leader, artist and so much more! A lesson in how we all travel through peaks and valleys during our lives. While all the contributing authors are women, this book helps us all to look inside and work to be the best version of ourselves. We are all in this together, female or male.

Working with one of the authors directly, Michelle Erskine, as she is the sole booking agent for our Reno-Lake Tahoe based band, we see first hand how devoted she is to her family, community, business and she still somehow finds time to book quality and meaningful shows for us. We are honored to have her as our agent and more importantly as a dear friend!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of these remarkable Women on a truly wonderful book!

As an artist and an athlete, Truckee is Michelle’s favorite place to live and work. She knew from an early age, about fifth grade that she loved photography. Always inspired and motivated by the things and people around her, she started out on the school newspaper and yearbook, then as senior class historian she really began to discover what photography was all about. Her portfolio emphasizes forever captivating sunsets and even more so, the mesmerizing sunrises, with dynamic lines and colors in the skies and waters. Raising children in Truckee has leveled that balance of being a mother and business owner, she’s been able to incorporate them in so much of what she does. Now Michelle is an ambassador for the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, a Truckee Downtown Merchants Association board member, a Truckee Rotarian, a local performer and an entertainment promoter.

Michelle Erskine Photography specializes in fine art landscapes and architecture photography that captures artistic and expressive compositions that reflect emotion, tranquility and a unique moment in time. She approaches each photo shoot with research and strategic planning. She can often be found snowmobiling into the back country or hiking up to that next amazing viewpoint. Michelle's work can be found in many local publications including the cover of Tahoe Magazine, Tahoe Quarterly, The Weekly, Sierra Sun, Martis Camp Home Tour magazine, Truckee Chamber Visitors Guide and the TDMA walking map and brochure to name a few.  Her standard presentation is either a metal print or canvas gallery wrap, where the product is ready to hang without a frame. All limited work is signed, numbered and titled on the front or back or both.
